DQ200 (0AM/0CW) 7 SPEED - DRY CLUTCH
The DQ200 is the first and only 7-speed DSG to make use of a dry clutch setup. These gearboxes are known to have issues including mechatronics, flywheel, and clutch problems. The most common issue we see at Geartronix DSG Centre is excessive clutch wear. This gearbox can be found in the Polo GTi, Polo TSI, Jetta TSI, Jetta TDI, Passat, and the Golf Mk6 Cabriolet
09K/09G TF-60SN (6-SPEED CONVENTIONAL AUTOMATIC)
09G-series gearboxes have a conventional automatic gearbox setup and is mostly found on the non-turbo 1.6 and 2.0 FSI models. This gearbox is fitted to the 2003-2008 model SEAT Leon, Audi A3, Golf Mk5 and the 2.5 TDI Volkswagen Transporter from 2003-2009.
AL551 (0BK 8HP55AF) 8-SPEED AUTOMATIC
This conventional automatic gearbox can be found in models like the Audi RS6; RS7; S8; SQ5 as well as the 3.0 and 4.0 TSI models. These have a 600-700Nm torque limitation integrated into its software to help ensure longevity and to keep them in one piece. Aftermarket tuning often sees torque figures rise, which can lead to premature component failure.
